Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Game Reserve

Penfam pick you from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00am or at JKI Airport upon arrival early morning. First, we start with the 5 days Kenya Safari Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Nairobi Karen Blixen briefing. Next departure for Masai Mara Game Reserve, with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point.

Afterwards, proceed to arrive in good time for lunch and check in at the Mara Leisure Mara camp/Similar.

Later, during the afternoon, a Masai Mara Kenya Safaris Big 5 game drive. This is in search of the namely Big 5 – Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Black Rhino, and Buffalo. Other rich game include Cheetah, Wildebeest, Zebra, among-est many are also easily in sight.

Later, drive back to the Mara Leisure Camp/Similar for dinner and overnight accommodation too.

Day 2: Mara Game Drive Full day

Starting with early Morning breakfast and leave for a full day Big 5 Kenya Safaris game drive. Carrying the picnic lunch box in readiness to explore the magic Masai Mara Kenya Safari.

Moreover, the Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September. The zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly and easily seen. Search for the Big Five Lion, Elephants, Buffalo, Leopard, and Black Rhino is normally very fulfilling. Others rich Masai Mara wild animals include Hyenas, Cheetah, Jackal and Bat-eared Foxes.

Later time allowing is an extended drive to the Mara River were schools of Hippos and Nile crocodile are abundant in river. Mostly they lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.

After return to Mara Leisure Camp/similar for dinner and overnight stay too.

Day 3: Mara – Nakuru

First starting with an early morning breakfast and depart Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a 3 hour scenic drive in the Rift valley floor. Later to arrive in good time for lunch and check in at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge/Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Later in afternoon game scenic Kenya Safari Lake Nakuru game drive. This is within the shores of the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s great masses of Flamingos. Currently due to climate change and high water level only few flamingos have remained. The famous White and Black Rhino are the main attraction and can easily be spotted along the shores of the lake.

Afterwards to return to the Sarova Lion Hill/Sopa Lodge for dinner and over night stay too.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park/Lake Naivasha.

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge and depart Nakuru for Lake Naivasha.  Expected to arrive in good time to check in and have lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge/similar. Later in the afternoon, visit Hell’s Gate National Park. Generally, the park allows walking safari, Hiking or optional Bicycle ride. Alternatively is to take a boat ride in Lake Naivasha to see the hippos.

Later, during the evening, dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge/similar.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha /Nairobi.

Beginning with the morning breakfast followed by check out and depart Lake Naivasha for Nairobi to visit Karen Blixen Museum. This was once the centre piece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills, all owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke.

Afterwards Lunch at Karen Blixen Restaurant.

Drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight out to your next destination.
