6 days Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Kenya Safari

Day 1: Kenya Safari Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Penfam pick you from your Nairobi hotel at 7:30am or at JKI Airport upon arrival during the early morning. Starting with the Kenya Safari briefing about the Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and finally to end at Masai Mara. Thereafter depart for Amboseli, a 4 hours scenic drive en-route. Meanwhile, the transport is a comfortable touring 4×4 Landcruiser/Jeep. Thus offering a memorable intro safari game drive as you check in and have lunch at the Amboseli Serena Lodge/similar.

Later in the afternoon, a game drive inside the Amboseli National Park. The park which lies at the floor of Kilimanjaro Mountain in the foreground. Thus offers a great scenic background for photography. Within sight are great wild animals which includes the Lion, Elephants, Buffalo, Cheetah, giraffes and antelopes.  Many others dot the environment and can easily be spotted at the swampy areas.

Thereafter, back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park.

Beginning with an early morning coffee or tea with snacks before proceeding for the Kenya safari game drive in the 4×4 Landcruiser. Within sight is the majestic and breath taking Mount Kilimanjaro which can be seen at this time in the foreground.

Thereafter, return to lodge for a late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure otherwise optionally visit the Masai village nearby.

Afterwards lunch at the lodge.

Later in the Afternoon, a Kenya safari game drive in search of the Big five less the Rhino. Thereafter followed by dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge/similar.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park.

Morning breakfast and depart Amboseli for Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way making a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley view point before proceeding to arrive at Lake Naivasha for Lunch.

Thereafter proceed through the Great Rift Valley escarpment, a 10 km drop. Eventually arriving in good time for an afternoon scenic Lake Nakuru Kenya safari game drive. The game drive within the shores of the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s great masses of Flamingos. Currently due to climate change and high water level only few flamingos and the famous White and Black Rhino are the main attraction. These can easily be spotted along the shores of the lake.

Check in at Sarova Lion Hill/Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for dinner and over night stay too.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

Starting with early morning breakfast and check out with a from Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara. The Masai Mara safari, which is a 5 hour scenic drive. After proceed to arrive in good time for lunch and check in at the Sarova Mara Game camp.

Thereafter the afternoon game drive, look for the Big Five Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Black Rhino and Buffalo. Likewise, its both fulfilling and exciting searching for the wild animals in the vast plains of the Masai Mara.  Other rich game include Cheetah, Wildbeest, Zebra and many more are in Masai Mara plains.

Drive back to the Mara Leisure Camp/Similar for dinner and overnight too.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve.

During the morning begin with an early breakfast and after leave for a full day Masai Mara Safari game drive with picnic lunch box. This with the aim to explore the magic Mara for the Masai Mara Safari. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September. Large herds of zebras which accompany the wildebeests in the migration are also within sight in the distance. Other wild animals within easy sight include the impala, topi, giraffe, Thompson’s gazelle, hyenas, cheetah, Jackal and bat-eared foxes are regularly seen.

Searching for the Big Five namely Lion, Elephants, Buffalo, Leopard and the Black Rhino is both fulfilling and and exciting expedition while on the Masai Mara safari.

Additionally an extended safari drive to the Mara River where schools of Hippos and Nile crocodiles are in abundant in river and lay in wait for a meal. Normally this is during the wildebeest migration on their annual quest to find new pastures in the Serengeti plains.

After the Masai Mara safari, returning to Mara Leisure Camp/Similar for dinner and overnight stay too.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

Finally, this is last day of the 6 days Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Kenya Safari. Subsequently start with an early Morning game drive, followed with breakfast at Mara Leisure camp and check out.

Soon after is depart for Nairobi. This is a 5 hours drive to Nairobi and with enroute lunch too.

Drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight out to your next destination.
