Nairobi National Park, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust & Giraffe Center

Penfam pick you from your Nairobi hotel early morning at 05:30 hrs. We start the Nairobi safari and tour with Nairobi National Park tour arriving at the main gate by 06:00am. This is the best time for early morning game viewing, main attraction includes the Big Four; Lion, Rhino, Buffaloes and other rich game animals.

At 10:30am, we check out from Nairobi National Park and drive to David Sheldrick baby Elephant. This is in goodtime during the baby Elephants feeding time which takes about 1 hour i.e. 11:00am to 12:00 noon.

Within Nairobi National Park is the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which embraces all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife. The trust undertakes rescuing and hand rearing elephant and rhino orphans. This includes other species that can enjoy a quality of life in wild terms when grown.

Exit the Nairobi National Park with lunch at the Mamba Village/Galleria Shopping Mall.

After lunch proceed to the Giraffe Centre where you get an opportunity to feed the famous Rothschild Giraffes. Thereafter drive to Karen Blixen Museum which was once the centre piece of a farm at the foot of the Ngong Hills, all owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke.

The Karen Blixen Museum farm house gained international fame with the release of the movie “Out of Africa” an Oscar-winning film based on Karen’s an autobiography by the title Karen Blixen Museum.

At 17:00hr, drive back to your hotel at the end of the Nairobi Tour.
